**Students must provide proof of student status. This could be a copy of the confirmation of their inscription as student for the on-going year provided by the university or a letter on headed paper signed by their head of department. This must be sent to gin2012@conferencepartners.ie at the latest two weeks after your registration is processed.

***"Consumer" is used to address all groups of lay people (people who are not healthcare professionals, nor G-I-N member) who contribute to or could potentially contribute to evidence-based clinical practice guidelines. This includes people who have a condition or disability relevant to guidelines in use, in development or in need of development, or being implemented. It also includes people such as family and friends who provide unpaid care for them. And, it includes individuals from organisations representing consumers interests, including voluntary sector or non-governmental organisations. Synonyms of consumer include 'patients', 'carers' 'Consumer advocates', 'service user', 'user representative' or 'patient representative'.


G-I-N 2012 conference registration fees are subject to German VAT at 19%in line with EU tax regulations.VAT can be reclaimed in the following instances:
  • German VAT registered companies can reclaim VAT in the normal manner
  • Non-German EU VAT registered companies can reclaim VAT through the 8th/13th directive
VAT is not refundable for non-VAT registered companies or individual delegates
